Getting Started
Download the App
NitroInbox is a free desktop application available for macOS. Windows and Linux coming soon. Download it from our homepage and install it on your computer.
Connect Your Accounts
Add your Gmail or Microsoft 365 accounts using secure OAuth authentication. Your credentials are never stored - we use industry-standard token-based authentication.
Configure Local AI
NitroInbox uses local AI models for email categorization and summaries. The AI runs entirely on your machine - your emails never leave your computer for processing.
Core Features
AI Smart Categorization
Emails are automatically categorized into actionable groups: Urgent, Needs Reply, FYI, Newsletters, and more. Categories are determined by local AI analysis.
Morning Briefing
Start your day with an AI-generated summary of what needs your attention. See urgent items, action required emails, and important updates at a glance.
Nitro Mode
Rapid email processing mode to achieve inbox zero. Batch process emails by category, then triage remaining emails one-by-one with AI-suggested actions.
Keyboard Navigation
Vim-Style Controls
Navigate with j/k (down/up), gg/G (top/bottom), Enter (open), and more. Full keyboard control for developers who prefer not to use the mouse.
Command Palette
Press Cmd+K to access any action instantly. Archive, delete, categorize, search, switch accounts - all without leaving the keyboard.
Visual Mode
Press 'v' to enter visual mode for multi-select. Select multiple emails with j/k, then perform batch actions on your selection.
Quick Actions
Single-key shortcuts: 'a' to archive, 'd' to delete, 'r' to mark as read, 's' to star. Process emails at lightning speed.
