By downloading, installing, or using NitroInbox ("the App") or accessing the NitroInbox website at nitroinbox.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App or Service.

2. Description of Service

NitroInbox is an AI-powered email client application that helps users manage their email with local AI categorization, keyboard-first navigation, and unified inbox features. The Service includes:

• A desktop application for managing email with AI assistance
• Integration with Gmail and Microsoft 365 email services
• Local AI processing for email categorization and summaries
• User accounts for syncing preferences (optional)

3. Email Service Integration

NitroInbox connects to third-party email services (Gmail, Microsoft 365) using OAuth 2.0 authentication. By connecting your email accounts:

• You authorize NitroInbox to access your email on your behalf
• Your email credentials are never stored by NitroInbox
• Access tokens are stored locally on your device
• You can revoke access at any time through your email provider's settings

4. Local AI Processing

NitroInbox uses AI models that run locally on your device for email categorization, summarization, and other features. This means:

• Your email content is processed locally and never sent to external AI services
• AI processing requires adequate device resources (RAM, storage)
• AI-generated categorizations and summaries may not always be accurate
• You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before taking action

5. User Accounts

Creating an account is optional but may be required for certain features. If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk email
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the App
• Use the Service in any way that could damage or overburden our systems

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated categorizations and summaries may contain errors or inaccuracies. Email actions taken based on AI suggestions are your responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NitroInbox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, missed communications, or actions taken based on AI-generated recommendations.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
